沉江史可法‧挑滑車高寵
武生路‧殊途同歸
解構武生表演中的武術身段，呈現憤怒、焦慮、困惑情緒，以至無法避免的形而上命題－死亡，在兩部武生折子戲〈沉江〉、〈挑滑車〉中進行實驗。一部是史可法的悲憤投江，一部是高寵的奮身犧牲，路程或不盡相同，在殊途同歸的終章，細品背後情感的交互作用。
榮念曾實驗戲曲《武生開打》旨在將代代相傳的傳統中國戲曲創新，與當代、國際觀眾呼應共鳴。藉著兩位新生代傳統戲曲武生與兩位來自亞州不同城市的當代表演藝術家，展開跨世代跨文化的對談，從不同的視角、不同的社會架構中，探索傳統不斷進化的樣貌。
