Description
Redeem a ticket to enjoy a Bee Farm Tour for 8 people with Hong Kong Raw Honey. Their beekeepers will introduce the anatomy of the bees, teach us to distinguish between the worker, the drone and the queen bee and their duties. Take a close look at the bees and bee hives with appropriate protective equipment and try their fresh honey (Depend on the season).
Date: 17 May 2021 (Monday)
Time: 10am-11am
Venue: Mai Po (Exact gathering location will be announced closer to the date)

- The floral period of major nectar plants in Hong Kong
- The anatomy and lifestyle of bee (e.g. why do they dance, who is their natural enemy etc.)
- Know about Solitary bee and Bee hotel
- How beekeeper harvest honey
- Know the importance of bee to our nature
- Reasons for decreasing number of bees worldwide and how to solve the problem
- How to provide a bee-friendly environment
- Know the role and the importance of bees in our nature
- Learn about the major nectar plants in Hong Kong
- Understand how to harvest honey
- Learn about the reasons for decreasing number of bees and the effect to our Earth
- Know more about how to protect our bees!
Terms and Conditions
- In view of COVID-19, the experience may be rescheduled with consideration of the social distancing restrictions. If this happens, a new date and time will be communicated with the participants.
- Reward photos are for reference only.
- Reward cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Reward could only be redeemed by volunteers aged 10 years old or above.
- Volunteer warrant that the redeemed reward is for their own personal use only. It is not transferrable and resalable.
- Once the reward redemption has been placed, the redemption will be considered final and cannot be amended or cancelled by the volunteer.
