我們需要
  • Join our briefing right before the home visit (head coach will teach you a few exercise drills to work out with the seniors)
  • Form groups and visit 2-3 seniors at their homes and observe their needs
  • Interact with the seniors, encourage and teach them to do some simple exercises at home
  • Debriefing and share the needs of the seniors with the social worker back at the elderly centre
  • Visit will take place on 27 July and 31 August (Sat) 09:00am - 12:00nn
  • We will communicate with you primarily through WhatsApp, please provide your mobile phone number during the application process
背景資料

Regular exercising habit is good for the body and mind, even for the elderly who cannot leave home or have mobility problems. We will visit the seniors at their home regularly to help building regular exercise habits and maintaining physical and mental well being.

我們可提供的資源

Volunteers will have a briefing before the home visit. New volunteer will be working with experienced volunteer in pairs or groups.

對我們的意義

Volunteers will visit the elderly regularly and teach them to remember some simple physical exercises, and also provide cognitive training exercises for the purpose of physical and mental exercise, anti-aging, and physical and mental benefits.
