The Hong Kong Bird Watching Society (HKBWS) was founded in 1957 and is a public charitable organization in Hong Kong. What is bird watching?

Bird watching is a rewarding activity that connects you with nature through your senses. As you observe birds in their habitats, you engage not just your sight but also your hearing, listening to their songs and calls. We hope through this activity, participants can increase their awareness of the environment and foster a deeper appreciation for wildlife and ecosystems, whether in a busy park, an open farmland or a quiet forest.
