Help us edit and schedule a 3-5 of short promotional videos for our social media
Project Details
What we need
- Join a 1-2 hour long briefing Zoom call
- Edit our videos into shorter versions (3-5 video highlights for 30-60 seconds long) for our social media to recruit future volunteers, and to showcase our activities and green initiatives
- Editing may also involve adding minor visual graphics or motion graphics to make the videos more engaging (Example: https://bit.ly/3rZl105)
Background
Every week we at Green Hour organise surplus food collection and distribute it to those in need around Hong Kong. We have managed to grow and support more and more individuals on a weekly basis, however we need help in reaching out to potential future volunteers. We are looking to produce a series of short promotional videos to highlight our organisations activities as well as promote green initiatives.We are looking for roughly 3-5 short videos showing what we are doing to highlight the issues we are tackling as well as encouraging more individuals to volunteer their time.
What we have
Video materials will be provided however we can find time to shoot extra footage if needed.
Why this is important
Social media is very important in engaging new audiences and keeping current audiences interested. Video materials can help us to reach out to people in an eye-catching way!

What we do
Established in 2018, Green Hour aims to promote a sustainable lifestyle through education, events and campaigning. Having already organised multiple beach cleanups, 'plogs' as well as Hong Kong's first 'Plastic Attack', Green Hour has begun establishing itself in the area. More recently, Green hour has started its Bun Run initiative, rescuing surplus food items from being sent to landfill and distributing them, as well as other essentials, to those in need in the community. To date, Green Hour supports roughly 100 individuals on a weekly basis, with plans to expand over the coming months.
