Help us translate our English-language marketing communications materials into Traditional Chinese for local Hong Kong audience
YAMA Foundation has built a strong base among English-speaking communities with disabilities and special needs. As we look to expand our programmes in the coming year, we sincerely desire to reach deeper into the local Chinese-speaking communities most in-need. We seek help in translating/updating our existing web content to include Chinese language, as well as putting out regular bilingual communications to our growing subscriber base.
English-language content (website, direct mail newsletters, activity reports, event marketing collaterals); Chinese-language glossary of preferred terms;Collaborative support from Executive Team to discuss/clarify ideas and communication concepts
YAMA Foundation was created to enable Hong Kong’s most vulnerable to fully participate in all aspects of life and society. We have witnessed how social exclusion, discrimination, and entrenched inequalities can impact people with disabilities and special needs, and the hardships that many families endure to “just get by”.Since our inception in 2016, YAMA has been an English-dominant organization. As our city continues to struggle through these most challenging and uncertain times, the need to broaden our reach and expand services in support of our city’s most marginalised and excluded communities has never been greater.

YAMA Foundation believes that all people have the fundamental right to feel good in their bodies, peaceful in their minds, live colourful lives, and be part of a caring community -- no matter their background or ability. As a registered charity, YAMA Foundation removes barriers to wellbeing through yoga, art, and meditation therapy programmes that are accessible, rehabilitative, inclusive, and trauma-informed. Since 2016, we have been providing accessible wellbeing services to our city’s most vulnerable populations. Our work spans three core service areas: (1) people with disabilities, special needs (PWD/SEN) and/or chronic illness; (2) people living in poverty; and (3) people living with mental health issues. ● Video introduction - https://youtu.be/ik7SZgyKAe4
