What we need

• Review our programmes and current funding structure to advise our Leadership Team on fundraising strategies
• Make recommendations on virtual and in-person fundraising channels and initiatives to support our mission
• Support on the initial set up of proposed fundraising initiatives (our team can handle subsequent management thereafter)
• Participate in regular meetings / calls with our Leadership Team

Background

We are looking for a volunteer with a track record of success in fundraising! Our programmes have grown by >200% over the last 2 years and we have been fortunate enough to secure funding to cover service delivery to communities in-need. However, we desperately need to raise funds to support the increase in operational manpower and back-office infrastructure required to manage these programmes.

Why this is important

YAMA Foundation was created to empower our city’s most vulnerable to fully participate in all aspects of life. We are truly unique in the way we work to empower marginalised communities to take ownership of their wellbeing. As demand for our services continues to grow, we also need to grow our operational support to maintain the consistent quality of our programmes and ensure our organisation’s long-term sustainability.
