What we need
- Organise at least one fundraising event to help WISE HK raise money to support our programs and activities
- Reach out to potential sponsors, including in-kind and financial for the fundraising event
- Promote the fundraising event to drive awareness and ultimately, participation
Background
We have an idea for a fundraising event(s) and we need support to implement the ideas, so it would be wonderful if we can get volunteers to assist with this project.

Why this is important
The donations raised will support us in our future work to champion sports for women and girls in Hong Kong, such as: (1) Deliver sports activities for women and girls from marginalised communities in Hong Kong (2) Start and sustain our Sports Leadership Program targeted at youth (3) Start and sustain our S.H.E. program targeted at university students in Hong Kong to foster mentoring relationships through the lens of sports

Our goal is to break down barriers to sports participation and help girls and women to thrive through sport. Sport is one of the best tools to achieve good health and wellbeing and reduce inequality. WISE uses sports as a tool for empowerment. We support teenagers’ (with a focus on secondary-school aged girls) personal development, including the development of positive mindset, awareness of the self and in the context of society, leadership skills, and employability skills, through a combination of physical activity and educational sessions.
