What we need

• We are looking for volunteers who are available during 17-19 Jul (8:30am-5:30pm) - You can choose any dates according to your availability
• Help with handling DSE students' enquiries
• Assist with the programme registration and other ad hoc tasks on the day

Background

「青年護理服務啓航計劃」 - 計劃目的及簡介 有見於安老及復康服務單位之服務面對招聘困難及員工高齡化問題，由社會福利署資助東華三院推行青年護理服務啓航計劃 (「本計劃」)，旨於為有志在社福界護理工作發展的青年人安排聘用和培訓，包括由政府資助他們就讀兩年兼讀課程，同時於不同的安老/復康服務單位擔任護理員或保健員之職位，工作與學習同步發展，讓青年人隨著個人職業路線圖發展事業。 In light of the difficulties in recruitment and aging workforce in the elderly and rehabilitation service units, the Navigation Scheme aims at providing opportunities of employment and training, including a two-year part-time course under government subsidy, for young people who are interested to work in the elderly and rehabilitation care services. The trainees may develop their profession along an established career path through on-the-job training.

Why this is important

一連串的宣傳工作，包括：協助學生報名、舉行文憑試放榜升學就業資訊擺放流動展架，吸引年輕人加入護理行業。A series of promotional efforts, including: assisting students with enrollment, holding diploma exam result release and further education and employment information mobile booth displays, to attract young people to join the nursing industry.
