Background

We have an upcoming art exhibition, The 2024 Sovereign Asian Art Prize Finalists Exhibition, and are looking to recruit some volunteers to support us. Established in 2003, The Sovereign Asian Art Prize increases the international exposure of artists in the region while raising funds for programmes that support disadvantaged children using expressive arts. Held annually, The Prize is now recognised as the most established and prestigious annual art award in Asia-Pacific. This year’s Finalists Exhibition will be held on 9/F of H Queen's from 8 to 16 May. The Sovereign Art Foundation (SAF) is a charitable organisation founded in 2003 to recognise, support and promote contemporary art talent; and to bring the therapeutic benefits of art to disadvantaged children.

What we have

We will provide a briefing for the volunteer to equip them with details on our foundation and the exhibition, so that they may best communicate with visitors and showcase the exhibition.

Why this is important

This exhibition will increases the international exposure of artists in the region, as well as raising awareness for our charitable causes. The sales of the artists' artworks, which the volunteer will help to facilitate, will act as an essential fundraiser for our programmes.
