What we need

• Help us direct and film video to record the testimonial of our beneficiaries (parents, teachers, principals, social workers). It will be showcased in our charity’s 20th anniversary Gala Dinner.
• Film interview with our beneficiaries
• On site filming in local schools and centres (Location TBC)
• Help us edit and add captions to the video
• Schedule and working hours are flexible and to be discussed, the video is to be completed by 10 May 2024
• Meetings will be arranged to discuss productions need, expectation and progress
• You can be one-man production or a filming crew

Background

The Sovereign Art Foundation (SAF) is recruiting volunteers to support our annual charity event. SAF is a charity founded in 2003 that uses the therapeutic power of expressive arts to support wellbeing and positive change in vulnerable children. Our flagship programme, Make It Better, is led by a professional team of Art Therapists and Facilitators, and combines expressive arts workshops for children with special educational needs with support for their caregivers and educators. We would like to produce a video showcasing the benefits of our charity work, aiming to raise funds in supporting more underprivileged children in need.

What we have

We will have a meeting with volunteers to discuss the filming arrangement. It is to be discussed depends on the need of the volunteers.

Why this is important

The video will be showcased in our foundation's 20th Gala Dinner, aiming to raise funds in support of our programme, Make It Better. This programme combines expressive arts workshops for children with special educational needs in Hong Kong with education, training and support for their caregivers and educators, delivering real impact.
