Prepare materials for a therapeutic arts workshop for underprivileged families
The Sovereign Art Foundation (SAF) is recruiting volunteers to prepare materials for upcoming expressive art therapy groups. SAF is a charity founded in 2003 that uses the therapeutic power of expressive arts to support wellbeing and positive change in vulnerable children. Our flagship programme, Make It Better, is led by a professional team of art therapists and facilitators, and combines expressive arts workshops for children with special educational needs with support for their caregivers and educators. We would like to invite you to help with organise and sort art materials for upcoming therapy groups to benefit the needed.
Guidance, aprons and gloves (if needed) will be provided on the day.
To assist materials preparation for 1600 sessions of Make it Better therapy and workshops, which 160 parents and children will be benefited directly under the programme.To promote the efficiency in resource management which translates to more effective therapy sessions, and ultimately, to a better impact to our beneficiaries. To encourage the involvement of a wider helping community and contribute our care to the beneficiaries in different levels.
