Provide a workshop to help volunteers and trustees understand the implications of the National Security Law on charities

What we need
- Join us for a 15 minute call to learn more about our project objectives and our organization
- Assist in developing a 2-hour workshop on the National Security Law from a charity standpoint for our volunteers and trustees
- Co-deliver 2 hour workshop with Operational Lead for sixteen volunteers and trustees online or in person
- Looking for English-speaking volunteers with legal experience
Background
We are a new charity in Hong Kong and want to ensure we protect ourselves and volunteers and ensure we are fully up to date with National Security Law requirements for charities and nonprofits.

Why this is important
The workshop will ensure everyone involved in the charity knows the expectations and requirements of the National Security Law in relation to charitable work.

Peer-to-peer support is a format that The New Normal Charity has proudly adopted from inception. We feel that one of best forms of therapy is to talk to others with similar life experiences. We have been helping people through life’s difficult moments for over three years now- facilitating conversations between individuals who find themselves in very similar positions. Our mission is to make sure no one feels alone no matter what they are going through.
