Project Details
What we need
- Join us for a 45 minute call to learn more about our organisation and types of partners/donors we are interested in engaging
- Research and identify corporates, foundations and more for potential collaboration and funding
- Identify and suggest (or make introductions if possible) any potential funders, donors or fundraising opportunities
- May have to get in touch with the donors / funders initially (our team will handle the subsequent communication thereafter)
- University students are welcome to apply
Background
We are a small charity and there is a lot of demand for our free peer support groups. In order to grow and meet the demonstrated need, we need to build partnerships and fundraise.
What we have
(1) Our current partnership database (2) organisational email account and our email templates (3) Other support you may require from our team (4) Acess to full Google suite
Why this is important
Partnerships allow us to grow our programmes faster, increasing awareness and support for our causes. We ultimately hope to reach a larger community of advocates through these partnerships.

What we do
We provide free mental health peer support groups. Our groups are hosted by trained facilitators with lived experience. Peer-to-peer support is a format that The New Normal Charity has proudly adopted from inception. We feel that one of best forms of therapy is to talk to others with similar life experiences. We have been helping people through life’s difficult moments for over three years now- facilitating conversations between individuals who find themselves in very similar positions. Our mission is to make sure no one feels alone no matter what they are going through.
