Help us to take photos at our volunteer social to be used on our new website on the 28th January at 1pm
Project Details
What we need
- Join us for a 15 minutes call to learn more about our organization and the event details
- Help with taking photos during the event, including group photos and candid photos
- 20 final photos will be chosen to be edited by the volunteers.
- Need to bring own camera and do basic edits on the photographs
- Two hours shooting and two hours editing accounted for
- Honorarium of $300 is provided upon completion of the project as your meal and transportation subsidies
Background
We are a new, small charity and we are hosting our first ever volunteer social for our brilliant volunteers. We need a photographer for two hours to shoot some group and candid photographs. We will use the photographs for our website that we are building, social media, and media requests. We will credit the photographer.

This helps us to create an engaging website and content to promote our work so that more people find our free peer support groups.

What we do
We provide free mental health peer support groups. Our groups are hosted by trained facilitators with lived experience. Peer-to-peer support is a format that The New Normal Charity has proudly adopted from inception. We feel that one of best forms of therapy is to talk to others with similar life experiences. We have been helping people through life’s difficult moments for over three years now- facilitating conversations between individuals who find themselves in very similar positions. Our mission is to make sure no one feels alone no matter what they are going through.
