What we need
- Join us for a 30 minutes call to learn more about our organization and the event details
- Help with taking photos during the event, including event ceremony, portraits, group photos, event highlights. Night photography is needed.
- Present at Tai Mo Shan Rotary Park 13:00 - 21:30 on Jan 27, 2024
- Please bring your own camera
- It'll be great if we can get back around 300-500 selected photos on or before 30 Jan 2024
- Lover of nature, mountain, hiking; may need to work in checkpoints on the mountain
Background
‘The Green Earth Night Walk 2024’ is a major fundraising event organized by The Green Earth. This year’s theme, “Forest. Mountain. Night Together” aims to provide participants with an opportunity to escape city life’s hustle and bustle and appreciate nature’s beauty. At the same time, we hope to raise awareness about the importance of cherishing the Earth. This is a low-carbon green event and the funds raised will support TGE’s environmental initiatives and education programmes, promoting a “zero-waste” lifestyle.

What we do
The Green Earth is a registered environmental charity established in February 2016 in Hong Kong. TGE believes extravagant consumption is the root cause of many of today’s environmental problems – the consumption levels of Hong Kong exceed our basic needs and eco-capacity. The public needs a change of mindset and behaviour if we want to tackle these environmental problems. We at TGE are dedicated to bring about the change. Through policy advocacy, green civic education and corporate partnership, TGE facilitates action by igniting green energy throughout the community and promotes resource conservation and a zero-waste culture by changing attitudes, and to turn Hong Kong into a healthy green city. Our vision is that everyone in our community will embrace green citizen responsibilities to help establish a sustainable living environment for this and future generations.
