Help us to take photos at our The Green Earth Night Walk on 15 Feb 2025 in Sai Kung
Project Details
What we need
- Join us for a 30 minutes call to learn more about our organization and the event details
- Help with taking photos during the event, including event ceremony, portraits, group photos, event highlights. Night photography is needed.
- Present at Pak Tam Chung, Sai Kung 14:30 - 21:30 on 15 Feb 2025
- Please bring your own camera and equipment
- We would like to target to get back 300-500 selected photos on or before 23 Feb 2025
- Edit and process photos after the event using any photo editing software you are most comfortable with
- Has experience in night-time portrait/human photography, Lover of nature and is in good physical condition to hike 10km
Background
‘The Green Earth Night Walk 2025‘ is a major fundraising event organized by The Green Earth. We aim to provide participants with an opportunity to escape city life’s hustle and bustle and appreciate nature’s beauty. At the same time, we hope to raise awareness about the importance of cherishing the Earth. This is a low-carbon green event and the funds raised will support TGE’s environmental initiatives and education programmes, promoting a “zero-waste” lifestyle.
What we have
Guidelines, event rundown and shuttle bus and public transport cost coverage will be provided. Snacks and refreshments will be provided at the event. As a token of gratitude, you will receive a certificate of appreciation and event souvenir.
Why this is important
The funds raised in the event will support TGE’s environmental initiatives and education programmes, promoting a “zero-waste” lifestyle.

What we do
The Green Earth is a registered environmental charity established in February 2016 in Hong Kong. TGE believes extravagant consumption is the root cause of many of today’s environmental problems – the consumption levels of Hong Kong exceed our basic needs and eco-capacity. The public needs a change of mindset and behaviour if we want to tackle these environmental problems. We at TGE are dedicated to bring about the change. Through policy advocacy, green civic education and corporate partnership, TGE facilitates action by igniting green energy throughout the community and promotes resource conservation and a zero-waste culture by changing attitudes, and to turn Hong Kong into a healthy green city.
