Project Details

What we need
  • Join us for a 1-hour call to learn more about our program
  • Participate in 4 x 1.5 hours online sessions to meet your mentees and facilitate them in career planning
  • Take the lead in supporting your mentees to take closer steps to their dreams through ongoing, supportive, non-judgemental mentoring relationship
  • Cantonese-speaking volunteers currently studying in University are preferred
  • You will be assigned to mentor around 3 secondary school (F3-F5) students
  • Attend all sessions scheduled as below:
  • 16 Nov 2022 5-6pm Volunteer Briefing
  • 23 Nov 2022 5-6:30pm Kick-off Ceremony
  • 8 Feb 2023 5-6:30pm Mentorship Session 1
  • 29 Mar 2023 5-6:30pm Mentorship Session 2
  • 28 Jun 2023 5-6:30pm Closing Ceremony
Background

"Dream Achiever" is an enrichment program which aims to unleash students' potential with mentors' guidance. We mobilize the community resources to offer our students with on-the-spot mentors’ support and dream-achieving learning opportunities.

What we have

An 1-hour briefing will be provided to volunteer mentors to understand more about the program and their roles.

Why this is important

Our program aims to nurture students' growth via experiential learning and mentoring. Your contribution in this project will help students who are financially and socially disadvantaged to develop self-confidence and able to aspire to a better future

Teach Unlimited Foundation (TUF) is a non-profit organization founded in April 2011 by a group of local parents concerned about the quality of education for financially and socially disadvantaged students in Hong Kong. Our Mission: 1. To support the education and personal development of financially and socially disadvantaged students through enhancing self-esteem, learning attitude and motivation. 2. To develop high caliber, socially conscious and passionate university graduates as role models and future leaders to advance the cause of quality education for all. 3. To model an effective way on mentorship and promote its integration into youth education in Hong Kong.
