Help us plan, organise and coordinate fundraising activities and campaigns
Project Details
What we need
- Join us for an one-hour call to learn more about our fundraising strategy and meet other committee members
- Help plan and organise at least one fundraising event to raise donations to support our programs and activities
- Develop outreach strategies and contact potential sponsors for both in-kind and financial support for the fundraising event
- Develop strategies to promote the fundraising event to increase awareness and encourage participation
- Work closely with our board members to brainstorm and implement fundraising plans, including board-led initiatives and campaign-based strategies
- Experience fundraising in the NGO space is a must
Background
We have an annual event scheduled for 2 December and a board committed to fundraising. We need support to refine and implement our ideas.
What we have
Support from the board, strategy document, ability to create campaigns in our website's GIVE WP app.
Why this is important
Unrestricted donations raised will support us in our future work, such as providing child sexual abuse prevention training, research, public awareness and support for adult survivors.

What we do
TALK Hong Kong was founded as a peer support group in 2019 and in 2023 became an official charity. We exist to prevent child sexual abuse and support adult survivors. We shine a light on the scale of CSA through research and public awareness, and provide abuse prevention training.
