Project Details

What we need
  • Research and identify potential funding sources, including grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual donors
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of grant proposals and other fundraising materials
  • Maintain detailed records of all fundraising activities and donor information
  • Coordinate and support fundraising events and campaigns, including managing event logistics, promoting events, and tracking RSVPs and donations
  • Develop and implement strategies to cultivate and steward donor relationships
  • Collaborate with the TALK Hong Kong team to ensure effective communication and coordination of fundraising initiatives
  • Provide administrative support
Background

TALK Hong Kong was founded as a peer support group in 2019 and in 2023 became an official charity preventing child sexual abuse. We are now working on fundraising. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated candidate to work closely with TALK Hong Kong Senior Management and Board of Directors across the fundraising process.

Why this is important

The Fundraising Assistant will play a crucial role in identifying potential funding sources, drafting applications, managing donor relationships, reporting and coordinating fundraising efforts to enable TALK Hong Kong to expand its programs and services to prevent child sexual abuse.
