What we need

• Join us for a 30 minutes call to learn more about the program and our organisation’s mission
• Attend mandatory onboarding interview and trainings provided by S&D to better understanding our organisation's service group
• Schedule bi-monthly 30min to 1 hour meetings with your assigned trainee
• Provide feedback to your trainee regarding business viability and innovativeness of their ideas

Background

Throughout the course of our 1-year Aftercare Training Programme, our Aftercare trainees explore and work towards their future dreams and career aspirations. In order to support each trainee on their unique journey to freedom, we are seeking dedicated entrepreneurial mentors who will walk alongside trainees as they build the foundation for sustainable success. An effective entrepreneurial mentor will listen well, offer field expertise, and be a sounding board for ideas, empowering the trainee with confidence. Through scheduled mentorship meetings, both mentor and mentee will gain new insights and expand their perspective and knowledge in the area of their interest.

What we have

We have mandatory trainings provided to volunteers to better understand our trainees' backgrounds and limitations. We will also be checking in regularly with the assigned trainee.

Why this is important

This mentorship program is one of the key elements of our program. You would help us to provide in depth exposure and expert knowledge to the trainee who will be fundraising to start their own journeys.
