Help us take product shots involving individuals using and recycling soaps
Project Details
What we need
- Join a short Google Meeting to discuss the photoshoot ideas
- Take photographs of individuals as they recycle and create the soaps
- Take product shots of our models using the soaps for sales promotion
- The photoshoot will only last for 1 day, we will coordinate a date and time that works for all parties within the project period
- Photo editing will be much appreciated, we are looking for 20-30 final photos
Background
Soap Cycling is a non-profit organization focusing on recyling soaps and promotion of social conlcusion. Currently, We are selling our soaps via online platform XiaoHongShu as a way to broaden our market and create job opportunities for ethnic minorities, elderly and youth.
What we have
Guidelines will be provided, the team will be working closely with you throughout the project.
Why this is important
The photos will be uploaded in XiaoHongShu to promote sales and show how Soap Cycling promotes social conclusion.

What we do
Soap Cycling is a tax-exempt charity founded in 2012 that collect lightly-used hotel amenities (soap bars, shampoo, bath gel, etc.) which are normally thrown away, reprocess them with the help of our vast volunteer network, then distribute the finished product to underprivileged communities in Hong Kong and throughout Asia. Soap Cycling is much more than a recycling company: we are a platform that encourages community empowerment, youth development, and entrepreneurship. Our Vision is to use soap recycling as a tool to engage the community and inspire the next generation to reach their full potential in leading the way to a more sustainable future. Our Missions are: (1) To research and create lasting and scalable waste solutions for soap and other waste products in the hospitality industry (2) To provide employment and youth empowerment opportunities in local communities (3) To improve sanitation and hygiene of disadvantaged communities by providing soap for free
