Event Photographer
Help us take photos and capture highlights during our Soapathon event (13 Oct)
Project Details
What we need
- Join us on-site from 10am - 5:30pm on 13 Oct for the Soapathon
- Take good quality (interesting and meaningful) photos during the event
- If you can help us with minor edits of the photos, it'll be highly appreciated! We hope to have around 50 final photos
- Please bring your own camera and equipments (if necessary)
Background
Soap Cycling is going to have Soapathon in October 13 and we would like to recruit two event photographers to take meaningful and interesting photos on that day.
What we have
We have last year photos as a reference and we can provide information and floor plan of the venue to volunteers beforehand.
Why this is important
Having good quality photos that show and record our event can help Soap Cycling to promote our organization for marketing in the future.

What we do
Soap Cycling is a tax-exempt charity founded in 2012 that collect lightly-used hotel amenities (soap bars, shampoo, bath gel, etc.) which are normally thrown away, reprocess them with the help of our vast volunteer network, then distribute the finished product to underprivileged communities in Hong Kong and throughout Asia. Soap Cycling is much more than a recycling company: we are a platform that encourages community empowerment, youth development, and entrepreneurship. Our Vision is to use soap recycling as a tool to engage the community and inspire the next generation to reach their full potential in leading the way to a more sustainable future. Our Missions are: (1) To research and create lasting and scalable waste solutions for soap and other waste products in the hospitality industry (2) To provide employment and youth empowerment opportunities in local communities (3) To improve sanitation and hygiene of disadvantaged communities by providing soap for free
