Edit 2-4 videos (~2 mins) for our global 10th anniversary campaign
Do well or do good? It's possible both ways with Creating Shared Value. Since the 2011 Harvard Business Review article, Creating Shared Value has grown from a revolutionary concept to a widely adopted practice aligning purpose and profit. As part of the global network, Shared Value Initiative Hong Kong takes part in the global 10 Years campaign. The 10th-anniversary campaign will feature 10 CSV champions worldwide through a Shared Value in Action video series. The series will be broadcasted on Shared Value global hubs’ websites, social media platforms, and events.
Your role will be to edit the 2-minutes videos featuring SVIHK Shared Value practitioners, based on raw footage of video interviews of C-level executives in Asia explaining how they embedded Shared Value in their companies. Branding guidelines and a detailed video brief will be provided to help you get started. You are expected to have a mix of both video editing technical skills (e.g. capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound file, titling, adding music/voice-over/SFX, etc.) and creativity in video production (i.e. different presenting style and techniques).
The Shared Value in Action video series aims to inspire business leaders to embrace Shared Value in their businesses and join the global movement towards a purpose-driven economy. By volunteering for us, you will act as a force of change for a better future.

Shared Value creates measurable economic value for an organisation in the form of new revenue or cost savings, while generating value for the community by improving social or environmental conditions. Creating Shared Value (CSV) – as defined by Prof. Michael Porter & Mark Kramer in their influential Harvard Business Review article – is a business strategy that creates competitive advantage by aligning profit and purpose. CSV uses a business’s core expertise to help solve problems we face as a society profitably and fosters collaboration between the public, private and non-profit sectors to maximise social impact.
