Help to create a fundraising video (2-3 min) for underserved K3 students from a local kindergarten
Hong Kong is one of the most unequal cities in the world. There are 230,000 underprivileged students in Hong Kong. REACH estimates over 8,000 kindergarten students are living under the poverty line.Through partnering with kindergartens located in some of the poorest districts in Hong Kong, our vision is to end this poverty cycle through provision of premium English programme and personal developments.
We will coordinate with kindergarten including headmistresses, school teachers, students and parents in preparation for the shooting. We will also work closely with the volunteer to provide resources and help as required.
Donations raised will enable REACH to continue conducting our year-long English Reading Programme for over 80 kindergarten students from 2023 - 2024.

We believe story books are the most powerful and effective tool to build up students’ reading proficiencies. While we understand the importance of fostering stronger English skills, it is the ability to adapt, and transfer gained knowledge through reading that is the most crucial and sustainable means necessary for providing a better future for these children. In order to outreach and empower under-served students, our goal is to partner with schools to form REACH Reading Clubs so as to equip students with English reading skill sets via a systemic and explicit approach using story books, REACH’s trial-and-tested proprietary curriculum and teaching methodology.
