Project Details

What we need
  • Provide Cantonese-to-English / English-to-Cantonese interpretation for speeches and panel discussions off-stage
  • Event duration: 15 June (Saturday), approximately 1:00pm - 5:30pm. Exact timing will be provided closer to the event date
  • The seminar will include breaks between sessions, and interpreters will be able to take rotating breaks
  • (Optional) Interpreters may bring their own microphone and earphone
Background

We are seeking volunteers to provide Cantonese-to-English and English-to-Cantonese interpretation for speeches and panel discussions during a Pride Month event on June 15th. The event, titled "What's Next For LGBTQ+ Equality In HK," is organized by Rainbow of Hong Kong in collaboration with Les Corner Empowerment Association and Made in Gender.
