What we do

Over 10,000 people were arrested during the 2019 social movement in Hong Kong, of which around 6,500 were under the age of 25. Project Change is a boutique NGO that aims to help these 6,500 youths overcome hardships. Founded in 2020, our strictly politically neutral services include psychosocial counselling and family therapy, legal support, and a comprehensive reintegration program that helps youths identify life opportunities in education and career development. To date, we have provided services to around 300 individuals, including supporting over 130 youths and 150+ of their loved ones. Project Change is steered by a cross-disciplinary team of professionals, with expertise in social work, therapy, psychiatry and legal services.
