What we need

• Support the event leader in maintaining class order and interact with SEN children through playing ball games/ stretching exercises with them
• There will be around 10 SEN children aged 10-20 in the workshop and you will be supporting 2-3 of them closely
• The SEN children are mostly having mild symptoms of autism/ ADHD/ down syndrome
• As the SEN children may not be comfortable around strangers, we would love to have your support for at least 4 sessions
• Workshops are held every Monday 5-6pm (Nov: 7/11, 14/11, 21/11, 28/11 Dec: 5/12, 12/12)

Background

The KidsAbility x Love21 sports class is a collaboration between two organisations, we are recruiting volunteers that are passionate and willing to coach children with special needs.

What we have

This event will have a leader to ensure everything goes well, the role of the volunteer is to assist the leader and help conduct the classes.

Why this is important

This project aims to improve the cardiovascular health of children with special needs, with a goal to let them experience diverse kinds of sports.
