Take videos for fundraising event on 13 /14 Nov and edit into highlights (Hikeathon and Treasure Hunt)
Project Details
What we need
- Join a 30min briefing call before the event
- The event is held out doors and we will be doing some hiking, requiring a certain level of physical fitness
- Take videos of event from 8am-5pm on both dates (13-14 Nov)
- Edit videos into 2 condensed version: 30 secs and 4 min
- Please bring your own equipment
- It would be wonderful if we can keep all the footages that you've shot for reference and fundraising purposes
Background
KFBG is one of Hong Kong’s most important nature conservation organizations, with over 40 conservationists working on environmental projects such as nature based solution to climate change, saving endangered plant and animal species from extinction, and promotion/education of sustainable living. We are hosting our first charity fundraiser at the Farm.On Saturday, November 13 is the Hikeathon. This is a 8km scenic walk around the Farm.On Sunday November 14, the Treasure Hunt takes place at our Lower Farm area. Find checkpoints and complete a simple and fun task at each of them!

What we do
Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG) spreads over 148 hectares of land on the northern slopes of Tai Mo Shan, Hong Kong's highest mountain, near the town of Tai Po. KFBG has a deep-set valley between two ridges, with a stream running steeply down through the forest. On the slopes there are forest, theme gardens, vegetable terraces, 8km of walking trails, 9km of roads, and conservation and educational facilities. The Farm was established in 1956 to provide agricultural aid to farmers in need of support to help them lead independent lives; and to provide leisure and educational experience for the public. The theme gardens were designed and planted from the 1960's onwards, and through planting, natural process and protection from fire, what was once barren scrubland is now mature forest.
