Project Details

What we need
  • A briefing session will be arranged around 1 week prior to the workshop
  • Mentoring and job sharing with students
  • Lead a group of students to learn through games
  • Engage with students for first-hand understanding of the world of work and give advice on life planning
  • School: WLB301, 3/F, The Wing Lung Bank Building for Business Studies, Shaw Campus, Hong Kong Baptist University (3:30-6:00pm)
  • Workshop is on 29 Jan (Mon) 3:30pm - 6:00pm
Background

The program connects young people with career opportunities and future skills required under the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Through speed mentoring with business volunteers from different backgrounds, students understand the wide array of possibilities as the explore their career aspirations. They will also work on hands-on activities on creativity & problem-solving, collaboration and ethical decision-making to develop core future skills needed to thrive in the fast-changing world of work.

What we have

All program materials will be provided by JA and a volunteer briefing session will be arranged prior to the start of the program.

Why this is important

Aims to allow students to 1) Acquire core competencies that are essential for future workplace: Creativity & problem solving, collaboration, ethical decision-making. 2) Engage with business professionals for first-hand understanding of the world of work and get the advice on life planning
