Project Details

What we need
  • Join the online volunteer briefing on 8 Apr (Mon) 12:00nn - 12:30pm
  • Support up to 4 x 30-min coding advisor meetings (via Zoom) with student teams on selected date(s)
  • Review student teams' App prototypes (developed with Thunkable, Python or any other coding software)
  • Advise student teams on their coding, UI/UX design, testing and launch plan, etc.
  • Share your study & career advice
Background

JA Innovation Camp introduces new tech trends to students and develops their design thinking and coding skills, creativity, entrepreneurial mindset, teamwork, and problem-solving. Under the guidance of Business Volunteers, students will work in teams of 6-8 to develop an innovative solution for a better community.After the Camp, they will have the opportunity to get advice and guidance on their App prototype at a meeting with Volunteer Coding Advisors. They can then join the JA Code for Impact Challenge for all secondary schools to be held on 4 May 2024 and pitch their social innovation ideas and prototypes to a panel of judges.
