Project Details

What we need
  • We are recruiting 10 volunteers for our JA "Play" It Forward programme. We are looking for working or retired adults as Business Mentors which will 1) Support one student team of 4-5 members through at least 4 two-hour meetings in September – November 2020, 2) Share experience and advice with students through the project of developing a game to enable players to understand the pros and cons of trade, and the world trade situation, 3) Be provided with seminars on trade situations and workshop on game design with the students on 19 & 26 September 2020. Through exclusive seminars, workshops, competition, and mentorship, participating secondary students will understand the development, relations and significance of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and gain experience in developing creative games. In order to support our Business Mentors for this learning journey with the student teams, we will arrange an orientation and provide program materials in mid-September.
