Background

This project is instrumental in helping us achieve our goals by addressing the challenges students face in learning about the world. Schools may not naturally prioritize global learning due to public exams and a majority of local students have limited exposure opportunities in travelling or even interacting with people from different cultures which leads to a lot of cultural misunderstanding and stereotyping. To overcome this, we aim to utilize posters as a medium to ignite students' curiosity and foster their interest in learning about different cultures. These posters will serve as engaging tools, complementing our dialogue sessions and encouraging students to explore beyond their classrooms.

Why this is important

Through this project, we aim to create a safe and enjoyable environment for students to learn about the world and challenge stereotypes associated with other cultures. By presenting accurate and diverse representations of various cultures, we seek to broaden students' perspectives and promote a more inclusive society. Ultimately, our goal is to empower students to embrace cultural diversity, foster understanding, and contribute to a more inclusive and interconnected world.
