Chinese Tutor
Teach and support ethnic minorities students (P.4-S.5) in their Chinese studies
Project Details
What we need
- Join the online class (Zoom) on Fridays between 6:30pm - 9:30pm (It'll be an hour of tutoring, exact time will be coordinated with the students)
- The class will be split into 3 different levels: (1) P.4 - P.6 (2) S.1 - S.3 and (3) S4 and above
- Interact with the students and address any questions they may have on the WhatsApp group
- Be patient, teach and guide them on improving their learning in Chinese
- We would highly appreciate your feedback / suggestions on how to conduct the classes if you have any educational experiences!
Background
CATSAPP is assisting EEL in launching a program for learning to ethnic minority participants by recruiting tutors for them.
What we have
Zoom (online) class and orientation about the ethnic minority community, a trial of our time bank platform to see how their contribution can be recorded
Why this is important
CATSAPP is providing a Capacity building service for ethnic minority community members through recruitment of volunteer tutors on various subjects.
