What we need

• Attend bi-weekly two hour meeting with the organising team in ImpactHK Tai Kok Tsui centre and report progress
• Help design and coordinate event T-shirt production and distribution
• Volunteers who are available at least one day per week are preferred

Background

We are organising our inaugural fundraising event, ImpactHike. It will be a ticketed event where participants choose from two hike distances and will be held in Tseung Kwan in autumn 2021. We are looking to build a team of volunteers to help with planning - from logistics to marketing. Volunteers will have a lot of ownership of their work stream and the chance to really shape our first event.

What we have

You will be briefed by the ImpactHK team at the beginning and attend a bi-weekly meeting where we will check in and all share our progress with one another. Volunteers will work closely with the staff team to provide the essential support you need.

Why this is important

The ImpactHike is our biggest fundraising event for the year and we hope to raise $750,000. All funds raised will go to providing food, shelter, employment opportunities and emotional support for people experiencing homelessness. Your help is crucial for us in planning the event successfully and making this happen.
