What we need

• Someone who has significant Salesforce experience who can provide some data analysis such as running reports (say once per week; fortnight; month)
• Can help us to organise and segment and ‘read’ our data
• Can then train our team of four in how to better use our Salesforce, especially the reporting functions and campaign functionality - and make our use of it more effective, clean and routine
• We would like to meet in person once or twice at least to kick off the project. In person meetings would need to be weekday working hours (can be flexible on exact timings to suit volunteer) and the rest can be done in the volunteer’s own time/own schedule.

Background

We use the Salesforce Non-profit Success Pack for donor and volunteer management and it was implemented 1.5 years ago. We are now accustomed to using the donor/volunteer management app for logging and recording data. Now we need help learning how to build and run reports, analysing the data, setting up some systems for review and spotting trends - and how we can use the ‘campaigns’ function.

Why this is important

Having good systems helps make us more effective and efficient so that we can save more time on working and use more time on helping people. We need a better and more up to date measure of our funding sources, segments and trends; we are currently inputting the data, but need help on the next step! The contribution of your expertise can make a big difference for us as this is a gap in our team’s knowledge.
