What we need

• Date and time: 15 June from 7am - 12pm (Volunteers are expected to sell flags for a minimum of 2 hours)
• Promote the services provided by the Hong Kong Student Aid Society and engage with the public to maximise their donations
• After applying, we will confirm the flag station location and donation bag collection arrangement with you. You'll be collecting your flag selling supplies from 1-9 June
• *Volunteers aged 14 or under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

Background

Hong Kong Student Aid Society will host a territory-wide Flag Day on June 15, 2024, to raise funds for supporting the necessary services we provide to the children and youth in our care. Our residents, aged from newborn to 21, are unable to live with their birth families due to various reasons. Therefore, we assume the parental role, taking care of their emotional needs, addressing their behavioural issues, and nurturing their whole-person development.

What we have

We will provide notes for volunteers regarding the areas where they are allowed to sell flags. Staff will stand by to answer any enquiries from volunteers.

Why this is important

This is one of our biggest fundraising events in 2024. Due to the limited resources, the funds raised from the Flag Day will greatly help support our services.
