What we need

• Join us for a 30-min call to learn more about our non-profit organization HKDAS
• Explore and advise registration process / system for the event
• Meet the organising committee and brainstorm event ideas
• Lead the event coordination on-site, such as seating that can allow photographer move around easily
• Join our WhatsApp group for easy progress reporting
• Volunteers with event planning and coordination experience is preferred

Background

Hong Kong Digital Asset Society (HKDAS) is an NGO aiming to promote public education, provide opportunities to the youth, and liaise with industry players in the field of blockchain technology and digital assets in Hong Kong. The upcoming event on 7 Jan 2023 is a preparation event for our signature program HKDAS Hackathon 2023 to be held on 4-5 Feb 2023.

What we have

A briefing will be provided to align the expectations, objectives and goals of the event. Our team will be supporting you and working with you align the way. We have other members handling guests, speakers, mentors, sponsors, etc. to support your work.

Why this is important

We would like to promote our initiatives to a wider group of audience and hope more people can support our cause of local talent cultivation in emerging fields, and hence the Hackathon and the forum are ways we can raise a greater awareness. By having talents giving us dedicated support on event planning and coordination, we can concentrate more on the actual talent cultivation work.
