What we need
  • Hold boats steady while athletes get settled and prepare for departure
  • Ensure that boats are stored safely and organized in the designated area
  • Coordinate with coaches and support staff to understand team schedules and launching times
  • You will work mostly outdoors, in different weather conditions
  • The role can be physically demanding, requiring strength and stamina for tasks like lifting and securing boats
  • You are required to attend both days, 19-20 Oct 7:30am - 5:00pm
  • No prior experience needed, life jackets will be provided; prefer volunteers who can swim
Background

HKCRA is the government body promoting rowing sport in Hong Kong, we organize numerous rowing events and international rowing competition every year. We are looking for boat holders to support these events.

What we have

You'll be working collaboratively with coaches, athletes, and other event staff to maintain an efficient and safe competition environment.

Why this is important

This ensure the safe handling and maintenance of equipment, allowing athletes to focus on performance. This support fosters a more professional environment, ultimately promoting rowing in Hong Kong and attracting more participants.
