What we need

• Conduct prospect research to identify potential donors, sponsors, funding opportunities and partnerships
• Help maintain donor and sponsor databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
• Support the development and implementation of fundraising campaigns and events
• Contribute to the creation of compelling fundraising materials, such as donation appeals, newsletters, and social media content
• Collaborate with the communications team to ensure consistent messaging across fundraising materials and platforms
• English-speaking volunteers/ interns preferred

Background

HELP for Domestic Workers is a non-profit organisation that empowers migrant domestic workers to gain access to justice and fair and equal treatment in Hong Kong. Founded on the three pillars of (a) advice & assistance, (b) awareness & education and (c) empowerment & peer support, HELP is committed to working with both migrant domestic workers and employers. We are now recruiting skilled fundraising interns or volunteers to support our fundraising initiatives and campaigns.

Related resources, materials and guidelines will be provided to facilitate the interns / volunteers to be familiarised with HELP's work, as well as the campaigns and initiatives that they are supporting.

Why this is important

Fundraising is a crucial element in sustaining our work in serving the migrant domestic worker community. The interns / volunteers will be contributing to our fundraising work.
