What we need
- Looking for undergraduate/ postgraduate students to support our Programmes Team at HELP for Domestic Workers
- Under the oversight of the Head of Programmes, you will gain invaluable first-hand experience in:
- Planning and implementing HELP’s programmes
- Organizing and implementing outreach activities and events
- Volunteer Management
- Active engagement of HELP’s beneficiaries and community leaders
- Monitoring projects and drafting periodic reports
- Developing long and short term project ideas
- Interns can work flexibly from Monday to Friday (10am to 6pm) for a minimum of 24 hours per week plus occasional Sundays, weekly working hours and end date negotiable
Background
HELP for Domestic Workers is committed to supporting migrant domestic workers to gain access to justice and receive fair and equal treatment under the law in Hong Kong. Since HELP is operated by a small team, we rely a lot on volunteers and interns to help us achieve our mission.

What we do
HELP for Domestic Workers is an NGO working on the frontlines to support migrant domestic workers to gain access to justice and fair and equal treatment in Hong Kong. Since 1989, we have supported migrant domestic workers through advice, assistance, education and empowerment. We equip the employers of domestic workers with knowledge and awareness so that they can build a mutually beneficial relationship with their domestic workers.
