What we need

• Organize and coordinate events aimed at promoting life and death education, such as music video productions, music therapy sessions, and community booths or exhibitions
• Overseeing logistics, budgeting, and marketing efforts to maximize event attendance and impact.
• Provide facilitation at workshops and support participants as needed
• Brainstorming and conceptualizing future activities and initiatives
• Researching and identifying potential funding opportunities
• No specific experience needed, training will be offered
• Welcome any Cantonese-speaking students from universities or tertiary institutions to apply

Background

The scheme aims to recruit students from higher education institutions as ambassadors to promote mental health. Specifically, we provide them with opportunities to support grieving individuals and advocate public life-death education. As ambassadors, they will take on various roles, such as providing face-to-face services by hosting workshops, creating online psychoeducation materials, and participating in research projects.

What we have

Scope of training we will provide: 1) General information about Grief Me Light & our organizational values 2) General knowledge of grief & life-death education 3) Practical skills of grief counselling 4) Mental health first aid 5) Sharing of frontline experiences 6) Pre-event briefing/ specific training ***Ambassadors will be awarded a certificate and a recommendation letter upon completing the scheme.***

Why this is important
