What we need

• Help with website and social media content creation (eg. writing blog posts, articles, etc.)
• Conducting interviews and collecting stories from grieving individuals
• Research on user analytics through website and social media engagement metrics
• Assist with service quality measurement by monitoring the outcomes of workshops and online resources
• All the data collected will be used to launch a book and MV during the year
• No specific experience needed, training will be offered
• Welcome any Cantonese-speaking students from universities or tertiary institutions to apply

Background

The scheme aims to recruit students from higher education institutions as ambassadors to promote mental health. Specifically, we provide them with opportunities to support grieving individuals and advocate public life-death education. As ambassadors, they will take on various roles, such as providing face-to-face services by hosting workshops, creating online psychoeducation materials, and participating in research projects.

Scope of training we will provide: 1) General information about Grief Me Light & our organizational values2) General knowledge of grief & life-death education3) Practical skills of grief counselling4) Mental health first aid5) Sharing of frontline experiences6) Pre-event briefing/ specific training ***Ambassadors will be awarded a certificate and a recommendation letter upon completing the scheme.***

Why this is important
