What we need

• Join a 1 hour briefing call
• Participate in five 2-hour public survey sessions alongside our team members
• Volunteers must be able to commit a minimum of 3 survey sessions (6 hours)

Background

The Green Hour Foundation is a registered charity in Hong Kong whose mission is to eliminate waste in Hong Kong through awareness campaigns, direct action and working with relevant bodies to improve waste infrastructure in this city.In 2025, we will be launching our new campaign which will take us onto the streets and bringing this awareness of the issues of littering to a much larger audience.Before we can begin this project, we plan to conduct further research and collect data from the public to get their thoughts and understanding of the issue so we can best target the problem and be sure make as big an impact as possible.

What we have

All survey questions will be provided to volunteers. We are looking for individuals with a welcoming manner to conduct surveys in English and Cantonese. If you speak only one language, that's fine—we will assign volunteers to different areas based on their language abilities.

Why this is important

Gathering this data is crucial to our organisation to make sure we gain information on knowledge levels and attitudes towards littering and waste disposal, as well as behavioural attitudes through their responses.
