Bun Run Volunteer Leader
Help us lead a group of volunteers in collecting surplus food items/directly distributing it to those in need

What we need
- Contact restaurants and bakeries several hours to confirm availability of surplus bread
- Liaise with other volunteers before/during event
- Guide volunteers towards collection/donation points
Background
Green Hour has been running its 'Bun Run' initiative for around 2 years. Since its inception there have been several changes in how the event runs and currently we are looking for committed Team Leaders to help guide small groups throughout various places in Hong Kong.
What we have
Team Leaders will be included in a group WhatsApp chat where information will be kept up to date.All relevant information regarding collection/drop off points and the contact details of all parties will be shared as well as access to the teams Google Drive if needed.
Why this is important
Currently we are usually only able to reach a maximum of 6-8 collection points in one evening, limiting our reach.If we are able to run multiple collections at the same time we can increase this to a maximum of 30 locations, increasing our impact five-fold and allowing us to reach a potential 1000 individuals on a weekly basis!If things are successful we hope to increase the number of team leaders from 5 extra members to 10 by the end of the calendar year.If you have any questions you are welcome to contact us via [email protected] or directly through Time Auction.Thanks for reading and we look to receiving your applications!
