What we need
- Join us for a short phone call briefing
- Shortlist contact list of bakeries, restaurants and other potential partners on an excel sheet
- Help to draft a simple background of our Bun Run programme
- Draft and send emails to potential partners
Background
We are working to expand out Bun Run programme, fighting food waste through collection and distribution of surplus food items.
What we have
We are looking for a volunteer to help us to reach out to potential partners. As many small bakeries and restaurants will require communication in Chinese we need someone who is proficient in both English and Cantonese to help.
Why this is important
Currently we have around 60 bakeries available throughout Hong Kong but many of them are located far apart. We are hoping to build around specific areas to allow for volunteers to have a better chance of collecting a substantial amount on the evening.
