Plant the seed of compassion for elderly in the heart of teenagers
Generation Hong Kong is constantly providing education to employment services to different underserved populations in HK. The Guardians of the Silver Age project aims to redefine care and foster a compassionate eldercare ecosystem in Hong Kong. The program has recently started a pilot in a secondary school to plant the seeds of compassion for elderly in the teenagers through knowledge transfer, interactive activities and reflection.
You will be volunteering with the program project manager, teachers and other supporting partners in the class. Prior briefing and session rundown will be provided.
Are you passionate about improving the eldercare in Hong Kong? Do you want to make an impact by planting the seeds of compassion in our future generation? Join us for this fun and meaningful volunteer opportunity to make a change together!

Worldwide, more than 75 million young people are unemployed. But many employers can’t find people with the skills they need for entry-level jobs. Generation is an independent nonprofit founded in 2014 by McKinsey & Company that transforms education to employment systems to prepare, place, and support people into life-changing careers that would otherwise be inaccessible. In 2018, Generation Hong Kong was formally established to bring Generation’s proven approach to addressing employment challenges to Hong Kong. To date, more than 117,000 people have graduated from Generation programs globally, which prepare them for meaningful careers in 17 countries.
