Mock Interviewer (Front-end Web Developer, 5 Apr)
Conduct mock interviews for 2-4 learners for our front-end web developer program learners

What we need
- Conduct a one-on-one (~30 mins) mock interview for 2-4 learners to prepare them for front-end web development job application
- Provide 10-15 mins feedback to interviewees during each interview session
- Complete a one-pager score sheet/feedback form (e-version) for our learner within 24-48 hours and send to Generation team for record
- Interview sessions will be preferably conducted in-person, or otherwise, via Zoom
- The event takes place on 5 Apr (Fri) 1:00pm - 5:00pm
Background
Generation Hong Kong is constantly providing education and employment services to different underserved populations in Hong Kong. In order to better prepare our learners for a future-oriented career, we are now recruiting skilled volunteers to help us give mock interviews with our learners so they can gain practical experience for job interviews in the future.
What we have
30-minute briefing before the event, mock interview flow, question bank, evaluation form and rubrics will be provided.
Why this is important
During mock interviews, the interviewer will encourage and empower the interviewee to respond creatively and effectively. Through providing constructive feedback after a mock interview, our learners will be able to gain real-life experience to advance their interview skills. By familiarising themselves with current interview settings and questions, interviewees will become confident and comfortable in real-life situations.
