What we need

• Join a 30-mins briefing call with the Enactus Team (Mar, TBC)
• Mentors will have to attend a face-to-face opening ceremony which will be held in Apr 2024 (details TBC)
• Mentor will match with 3-4 university students over a 5-month period (3 catch-up sessions with mentees)
• Mentors will have to attend a online closing ceremony which will be held in Aug 2024 (details TBC)

Background

Social Business Mentorship Program 2024 (“SBMP”) connects professionals currently working in the social and business sectors with undergraduates who are passionate about gaining in-depth knowledge in these sectors. Professionals are expected to provide practical advice, life and work experience, and suitable guidance to empower undergraduates and assist them in preparing for the workplace and the future. Undergraduates are expected to be proactive, willing to learn, and responsive. We aim to: 1) To enrich students’ understanding of social innovation, corporate shared value (CSV), environment social governance (ESG), and sustainability across different sectors with a particular emphasis on the FinTech industry, while also encompassing various other sectors. 2) To provide students with hands-on experience and workshops to understand the diverse aspects of various industry. 3) To build a community of like-minded professionals and young talents who share similar values and passion towards social innovation and sustainability.

What we have

Enactus will arrange a briefing call as well as mid-term progress review with all mentors. Communication support will also be provided throughout the program.

Why this is important

Your support enables Enactus to fulfill its mission of providing deeper insights on social innovation and/or doing social good to aspiring undergraduates in Hong Kong. We believe that the program will not only be enriching to students but also to the mentors as a mutual learning experience.
