What we need

• Join calls to learn about our initiative and discuss the website’s design and UX/UI requirements
• Draft design brief: Work with our communications team to ensure our needs and goals are clearly defined
• Help develop a prototype design of the layout and appearance of the website. Ensure that the website's visual elements align with the established brand identity and convey the desired brand messaging and personality
• Help us review the proposed website structure, layout and graphical aesthetics to effectively communicate to the public about our mission, website features and the upcoming events
• Around 5 hours per week during the project period

Background

Effective Giving Hong Kong (EGHK) is a new initiative of Effective Altruism Hong Kong. The website provides a localized version of a successful donation platform. It offers educational material and personalized advice to help people in Hong Kong maximize impact with their charitable donations.You will be joining a small volunteer team to steer the initiate design direction of this new website. The aim is to help us express clearly our needs and goals in a draft design brief, and produce a prototype webpage to capture the essence of the design for the next stage of development.You will be joining a small volunteer team to steer the initiate design direction of this new website. What we have

Branding guidelines, references, and a detailed website specification of our website will be provided. You’ll mainly liaise with our communications team.An opportunity to join an ambitious project to help others achieve 100x impact with their donations.A certificate of completion.At the end of the project, there may be an opportunity to have 1-1/ small group meetings with local and global experts in Effective Altruism to discuss how you can maximize your impact. Honorarium: HK$500
